Metropolitan Builders Association's Parade of Homes Award Winners Announced

New Castle & Wentworth Models in Waterstone Subdivision

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI (September 2, 2011) – Victory Homes of Wisconsin, Inc., a division of The Victory Companies, is proud to announce that the New Castle model in Waterstone Subdivision received an award at the Parade of Homes Awards Ceremony: Landscape Design – Gold Award. The Wentworth model won two awards: Landscape Design — Silver Award, and Overall Appearance — Bronze Award. Winners were selected by MBA appointed judges.

Victory Homes of Wisconsin, Inc. to Unveil Two New Model Homes at the 2011 Metropolitan Builders Associations Parade of Homes

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI (July 1, 2011) – Victory Homes of Wisconsin, Inc., a division of The Victory Companies, is proud to premiere two new homes during the 2011 Metropolitan Builders Association's (MBA) Parade of Homes to be held from Saturday, August 20th through Sunday, September 11th.

Both homes will be located in the Waterstone subdivision in Grafton.

The New Castle, from the luxury Victory line, is 2,168 square feet, including three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, an open-concept great room with corner fireplace, a flex room, a captivating covered porch, a convenient rear foyer with mudroom, and a stunning, centrally located kitchen.

"Many of our customers love to entertain, but hate being stuck in the kitchen away from their guests," said John Stoker, President & Co-owner of Victory Homes. "That's why we designed the New Castle's kitchen to open to the great room and the dinette. The raised snack bar with seating will invite guests to help with prep work for casual gatherings, and does double-duty hiding away little-used appliances."

The Wentworth, from the affordable Destiny line, is 2,377 square feet, including three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, an open-concept great room with cathedral ceilings and a corner fireplace, a flex room, a intricate stonework and wooden arches framing the covered front porch, a stunning kitchen with wod beamed ceiling, and a three-season room.

"When we designed the three seasons room in the Wentworth, winter was lingering as it always does," said Daryl Prusow, Vice-President & Co-owner of Victory Homes. "We were eagerly anticipating warmer weather and gathering friends for a barbecue. We set out to design a space where homeowners could enjoy the outdoors without being chased inside by mosquitos. We started with a screen porch, but as we thought about how our homeowners would use this space, we modified the concept to include full-view storm windows that could be opened to let in cool breezes and easily closed to keep out cold ones. We also installed a draft-free floor and finished it off with carpet so you have a luxurious indoor feel with an outdoor view. The end result is an oasis just outside the Wentworth's dinette that expands this home's living space by almost 200 sq. ft.."
