Ken Nelson, of Victory Homes of Wisconsin, Named 2025 Madison Area Builders Association President

Madison, WI – December 2024  —  On the evening of December 5th, Ken Nelson was installed as the 2025 President of the Madison Area Builders Association (MABA). Nelson takes over the position from Shaun Scullion of Scullion Builders.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity,” stated Nelson. “I’ve had the opportunity to travel to NAHB meetings and I am continuously amazed at the recognition that MABA receives on a National level for their amazing culture. Our members are the leaders of today and tomorrow. We have a great leadership within the Association and member engagement continues to be a priority. As a team, we will continue to provide some of the most dynamic opportunities for members to network and to market themselves to consumers through the Build & Remodel Expo and both Parade of Homes events. We plan to expand opportunities for members to learn and grow through training and educational offerings, and to work towards making it easier and less expensive to build in Dane County.”

Ken was elected 2025 President earlier this year, an honor and privilege that he is truly deserving of. As President, Ken will be the spokesperson for the Association, the guide for its policies and a model for its beliefs. It is a job that comes with great responsibility and great reward.  Ken has been an active member of the Madison Area Builders Association since 2019, and has worked in the building industry for many years.
